DESY Innovation Insights: Making high technology usable for industry
The Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY) is one of the world's leading research centres for accelerator technologies. In addition to scientists from all over the world, industrial partners also benefit from the unique infrastructure: state-of-the-art X-ray sources, specialised laboratories and highly developed workshops are available for innovative measurement orders and research and development projects. In the opening event of the new DESY Innovation Insights series, Dr Nadja Kölpin, Industry Relations Manager at DESY, will explain how the research centre's brilliant X-ray light played a key role during the coronavirus pandemic - and how companies can gain access to this technology.
