Launchpad for ideas

For innovative product ideas from the deep-tech sector, the Makerspace of the DESY Innovation Factory offers 120m2 of experimental space for 3D printing, mechanics and electronics. Prototypes can be developed and tested for their feasibility in reality there. Offices, co-working spaces (up to ten people) and rooms for community events are available for evaluating results and exchanging ideas. Flexible and quick booking options facilitate spontaneous work planning.
The offer is aimed at (pre-)founders, start-ups & scale-ups and can be used for transfer & collaboration projects. The Makerspace is run by Start-up Labs Bahrenfeld and is located in the Innovation Village on the DESY campus - the Makerspace is thus another contact point for innovators in the growing Science City Bahrenfeld.

Founding Toolbox: Business Model Innovation

Does it always have to be the subscription business model? Aren't there other (more) suitable and innovative business models "out there"? This workshop is all about business models. Specific business model patterns will be presented and applied to your project idea in a practical way. The Start-up Toolbox workshop series is aimed at people interested in starting a business with or without their own business idea from the university environment in the Hamburg metropolitan region.
